Мы решили повысить требования к уровню сложности паролей для пользователей, имеющих учетные записи, которые можно редактировать в [[MediaWiki:Common.js]], получить доступ к чекюзеру или иметь доступ для контроля.
Такие пароли очень популярны и могут нанести вред сайту при попадании в руки злоумышленников. В настоящее время единственным требованием к паролям является наличие минимум одного символа. Мы хотим увеличить минимальное требование к паролям - до 8 символов, а также запретить использование распространенных паролей.
За счет увеличения требований к сложности паролей для доступа к учетным записям мы надеемся сделать страницы Викимедиа более безопасными для всех участников. == Техническое обновление для Викиучебника ==
Раз уж начал. За эту неделю я практически полностью обновил данные в наших локальных файлах MediaWiki. Удалил устаревшие значения переводов и функциональных страниц, обновил скрипты для гаджетов, переделал некоторые системные сообщения. Что хочу сделать еще:
* Добавить работающие гаджеты из [[w:]], а именно: Все активные, кроме гаджетов для непосредственно Википедии и Викиданных;
* Удалить текущую версию ImageAnnotator и заменить её на простой просмотрщик аннотаций, как это сделано почти во всех проекта Фонда Викимедиа (на викискладе стоит сам Аннотатор, вот пусть на викискладе и работают с изображениями);
* Обновить наш [[MediaWiki:Common.js]] до функционала ВП [[w:MediaWiki:Common.js]]. Включая картинки в углу статьи (для добавления туда стадий разработки ВУ (как в английском ВУ));

:# Я не знал о «просмотрщике аннотаций» когда устанавливал в проекте ImageAnnotator. Судя по названию, просмотрщик более подходит для проекта, нежели чем «полновесный» инструмент; благодарю за внимание к вопросу.
:# Когда не работаю с аннотациями — всегда использую с Викиучебником [[w:NoScript]] (или и вовсе [[w:Lynx]], EWW, {{lang |la|etc.}}), так что по другим <code >.js</code> ничего сказать не могу.
